Well, we're about halfway through the hurricane season, and almost past the worst of it. Hurricane Earl did some damage, but on the plus side, Oualie has a brand new beach! Thanks to wave action, the beach has widened considerably, giving us even more room for our new beach chairs.
Thankfully, our dock was not too badly damaged this hurricane season, and will be ready for the Fishing Tournament in three weekends' time. Come on down to check it out!
Four Seasons is reportedly fine, and will apparently be reopening on schedule, on December 15th, 2010. This will also be the date that American Eagle reinstates its flight from Puerto Rico to Nevis, making travel to and from here easier. More details will be up in another blog soon!
All in all, Oualie is doing wonderfully, as is Nevis in general. Why not come down and enjoy a drink at the bar? Don't forget that Tuesday and Friday nights we have live entertainment, the Booze Cruise is up and running on Thursday evenings again, and the Fishing Tournament begins October 16th. Further details will also be released in another upcoming blog. Be sure to check out the Oualie website for new rates.
Have a great day!
