Travelling to St. Kitts-Nevis
1. Can I travel to St. Kitts and Nevis?
Yes - St. Kitts and Nevis closed its borders when the COVID-19 pandemic started and reopened its borders October 31st, 2020. 2. What are the travelling requirements?
International travellers coming from the U.S., Canada, U.K., Europe, Africa, or South America and everyone travelling from outside/inside of the CARICOM member states must complete the Entry Form on the federal website (www.knatravelform.kn), submit a negative PCR test completed within 72 hours of travel from an accredited laboratory, undergo a health screening at the airport and download the SKN COVID-19 contact tracing mobile app (to be used for the first 14 days of travel or fewer). 3. Do I need to quarantine on arrival?
During their first week on island, visitors are required to vacation in place at their hotel property. Those staying longer than one week will be required to undergo a PCR test at their own expense (US$150) on Day 7 of their visit. Once the traveller tests negative on Day 7, they are allowed, through the hotel’s tour desk, to book select excursions. Visitors staying longer than two weeks will be required to undergo a second PCR test on Day 14 at their expense; if they test negative, the traveller will be allowed to freely explore the island and mingle with the local population. 4. Can I stay at Oualie Beach Resort?
Yes - Oualie Beach Resort is one of the few hotels qualified to quarantine visitors (Residents/Nationals only at present). New arrivals will be confined to one area of the property where they are free to come in and out of their rooms and enjoy the beach. Food will be delivered to their rooms to avoid physical contact with the rest of the guests and staff. After 7 days, once the COVID-19 test comes back negative, guests will be relocated to another room outside of the quarantine area and can freely enjoy the hotel facilities and an approved package of services. After a second negative test on Day 14, guests can explore the island at their leisure. Contact us to ask about our special pricing on long-term stays. |
